Postdocs

Mouhamad Al Mahmoud

Mouhamad is a postdoctoral researcher at Ghent University and IMEC's Photonics Research Group, where he is working on the realization of integrated on-chip quantum squeezers.

Mouhamad received his master's degree in physics from the University of Lorraine, France in 2018. Between 2018 and 2022, he carried out his PhD research in the universities of Sofia, Bulgaria, and Lorraine, France, thanks to the MSCA-EU Horizon-2020 ITN doctoral grant.

Mouhamad's thesis, "Application of coherent quantum control schemes in classical physics," was devoted to investigating on the analogy between quantum mechanics and classical physics in order to render numerous classical systems robust and broadband.
